Academic Support for Students
Bergen Elementary school seeks opportunities to leverage talent, resources and tasks to help all students reach new levels. At Bergen Elementary, instruction is informed by research-based, high-quality learning strategies that promote a growth mindset. Students receive academic support in the following ways: in-class support, small group interventions and extensions and personalized learning plans as needed.
Staff Support
Our Instructional coach has a deep understanding of how to apply professional learning strategies, research on change, powerful adult learning models, learning theories, and a growth mindset to support students academically. Our coach fulfills the following five roles: classroom support, instructional and curriculum specialists, data coaches, mentors and catalysts for change and improvement.
